Position Title: Regional Director of Operations

Location: BOS – Boston Logan International Airport

Salary: $95K - $110K Annually

Position Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day operational activities in various company locations providing ground handling and aircraft appearance services. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to baggage handling, aircraft loading/ dispatch, customer service and aircraft appearance. This position is accountable for reliability, customer service delivery, branding, fostering positive employee relations, cost management, and regulatory compliance. This position also ensures the safety of our customers, employees, and equipment.


 Primary Functions

  • Develop and direct strategic plans to ensure a safe and reliable ground operation
  • Support and deliver against corporate and station goals and initiatives
  • Monitor performance and adjust as needed to ensure operational and financial excellence
  • Develop and communicate with direct reports and front-line staff
  • Assist in planning of resource allocation for staffing and ground equipment
  • Direct service recovery during irregular operations and service disruptions
  • Interact with airline partners and governmental agencies
  • Financial responsibilities include strict oversight of station and region operating budget



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or a combination of experience/education
  • Strong working knowledge of airline operations and/or aviation vendor experience
  • Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with 24/7 responsibility
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and implement
  • Must be a centric leader that leads by example, as well as a motivated mentor
  • Must be creative and innovative to improve the delivery of service to our airline partners
  • Proactive, hands-on and result-driven attitude
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
