Position Title: Ramp Manager
Classification: Full Time-Exempt
Reports To: Regional Director
The Ramp Manager is responsible for the oversight of meeting, parking, unloading, loading and dispatching all aircraft. Key areas include safe operation and management of ground equipment, staffing, proper management of make-up areas for outbound baggage and delivery of baggage to designated areas. Leadership of the ramp department also entails close oversight to ensure compliance with many government regulations such as FAA, OSHA, DOT and CBP.
The Ramp Manager is responsible for leading and developing supervisory and front-line team members as well as promoting and maintaining relationships with airline customers. The Ramp Manager is also required to deliver against established operational and financial performance goals.
Required Education & Experience:
This job operates in a professional office environment as well as outdoors in an airport ramp environment. The employee may become exposed to the elements including but not limited to heat, rain, and snow.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Some travel may be required.
